Medical office building with spine hospital purchased

A medical office building housing a spine hospital was acquired by Kayne Anderson Real Estate and Remedy Medical Properties.

The building in Wichita, Kan. houses Kansas Spine & Specialty Hospital and Abay Medical Plaza, according to a Dec. 14 news release. The medical plaza’s largest tenant is Abay Neuroscience Center, followed by the Pain Center at Kansas Spine & Specialty Hospital.

CIT, a division of First Citizens Bank, financed $27.8 million for the sale, but the transaction price wasn’t disclosed.
