Four things to know:
1. Dr. Davis has a special interest in performing minimally invasive spine surgeries and has been involved in clinical trials for spinal surgery advancements. Dr. Davis’s research has been published in the Journal of Neurosurgery and International Journal of Spine Surgery.
2. While at Laser Spine Institute, Dr. Davis oversaw clinical trials examining the M6-C artificial cervical disc from Spinal Kinetics, now part of Orthofix, and Titan Spine.
3. Prior to joining Laser Spine Institute, Dr. Davis spent time as an assistant professor of neurosurgery at Baltimore-based Johns Hopkins and a clinical instructor at the University of Baltimore. He also headed the division of neurosurgery at Greater Baltimore Medical Center.
4. Dr. Davis was a neurosurgeon on the team of Ben Carson, MD, when he famously became the first neurosurgeon to separate conjoined twins in 1987.
