Dr. Shah is the study investigator and care provider serving southern New Jersey, according to his website.

The study is evaluating if a posterior cervical stabilization device improves cervical fusion when used as part of circumferential cervical fusion.

Providence Medical Technology designed the titanium implant, which aims to achieve bilateral facet fixation by bridging the interspace with points of fixation at the ends of the construct.

“The muscles bounce back quicker, better, and their function, we believe, is better,” Dr. Shah told ABC12 in a Nov. 9 interview.
