Drs. David Slottje and Osmond Wu join neurosurgery staff at Sentara hospital amid growing demand

Sentara Martha Jefferson Hospital in Albemarle County, Va., added David Slottje, MD, and Osmond Wu, MD, to its neurosciences center to keep up with increasing patient demand, reports CBS 19 News.

Four things to know:

1. The neurosurgeons join Jacob Young, MD, at the neurosciences center.

2. Dr. Slottje is fellowship-trained in neuro-critical care who brings training in endoscopic resection and radiosurgery for pituitary tumors.

3. Dr. Wu is fellowship-trained in minimally invasive and complex spine surgery and brings training in adult spinal deformity correction, stereotactic spine surgery and minimally invasive surgery.

4. Two neurointerventional radiologists, Lee Jensen, MD, and Andrew DeNardo, MD, also joined the hospital staff.
