Robert R. Bulger, MD, a physician specially trained on the AccuraScope discectomy and neutral decompression procedure, joined North American Spine in Dallas, according to a company news release.
The AccuraScope procedure is a minimally invasive, natural opening procedure which allows physicians like Dr. Bulger to diagnose and treat back disorders and injuries which an MRI may not detect.
Dr. Bulger received his medical degree from Mayo Medical School College of Medicine. He has additional training in internal medicine and anesthesiology from Emory University in Atlanta. Dr. Bulger completed a fellowship at Penn State in University Park, Penn., where he developed epidural infusion protocols and techniques for post-operative pain.
Dr. Bulger is the former president of the Dallas County Anesthesia Society and was selected as one of D Magazine's Best Doctors in Dallas for the past six years.
