Dr. Eugene Curry operates on Cowboys’ Dak Prescott

Eugene Curry, MD, operated on Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott Oct. 11, repairing a compound fracture and dislocation of his right ankle, ESPN reported.

1. Mr. Prescott suffered the injury Oct. 11. Head Team Orthopedist Dan Cooper, MD, evaluated Mr. Prescott’s injury and then recommended Dr. Curry.

2. The procedure was reported to have gone “very well,” and the team expected Mr. Prescott would be released from the hospital Oct. 12.

3. Dr. Curry is a foot and ankle specialist at Dallas-based Carrell Clinic.

4. He is an orthopedic subspecialists consultant for the Cowboys, Southern Methodist University Athletics and the Dallas Mavericks.
