Vallum Co. received FDA clearance for its PEEKplus nanotextured surface for spinal interbody fusion devices.
Here are three things to know:
1. Vallum uses its proprietary accelerated neutral atom beam technology to create the PEEKplus nanotextured surface.
2. The nanotexturing technology is designed to be applied to any fully-manufactured PEEK interbody device without altering its design, size, mechanical or chemical properties.
3. PEEKplus is not a coating. It is not porous and has no chemicals infused into the PEEK.
