Dr. Leo Taarea joins sports medicine department at Texas hospital

Houston Methodist The Woodlands Hospital in Conroe, Texas, recently welcomed Leo Taarea, DO, to its orthopedics and sports medicine department, reports Woodlands Online.

Dr. Taarea is a primary care and sports medicine physician. His clinical interests include chronic musculoskeletal conditions, platelet-rich plasma and ultrasound-guided injections.

He graduated from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine.

Dr. Taarea completed a family medicine residency at East Carolina University in Greenville, N.C., and a primary care sports medicine fellowship Andrews Sports Medicine & Orthopedics Center in Birmingham, Ala.

He is seeing patients at Houston Methodist Orthopedics & Sports Medicine at The Woodlands.
