Stephen Cook, PhD, joined the board of directors of Parsippany, N.J.-based Precision Spine. Dr. Cook is the president and chief scientist at the Fellowship of Orthopaedic Researchers in Metairie, La. He is also on the editorial boards of the Journal of Biomedical Materials Research; Journal of Oral Implantology, Medical Designs and Materials; and The Journal of Arthroplasty, according to the release.
Dr. Cook is a notable spine implant and motion preservation researcher. He is a research professor in the department of orthopedic surgery at the Louisiana State University Health Science Center in New Orleans.
