Alpharetta, Ga.-based SANUWAVE Health's 2012 revenue of $762,214 was a decrease of 4 percent compared with 2011's total revenue, due in large part to lower sales in Europe of orthopedic, trauma and sports medicine devices. SANUWAVE's CE-marked orthoPACE devices sold fewer units in 2012, partially due to the European economic downturn, according to the release.
The company's research and development cost $1.8 million over the past year compared with $2.7 million in 2011, a 35 percent decrease, due to lower clinical results expenses.
