Amendia Doubles Spine Device Manufacturing Facility

Marietta, Ga.-based Amendia plans to nearly double its spine device manufacturing operations, according to City Biz List Atlanta.

The company expanded from about 49,000 square feet to 90,000. Amendia has grown significantly since its founding, and recently announced an investment of up to $50 million to commercialize a biomedical company that focuses on implant technology to stimulate bone growth, according to the report.

Amendia manufactures minimally invasive spine and orthopedic implants, and currently has more than 18 products, such as cervical plates and lumbar screws.
