Montecito Medical acquires Class-A buildings from OrthoWilmington – 4 things to know

Montecito Medical recently acquired two Class-A buildings totaling 76,903 square feet from OrthoWilmington in Wilmington, N. C.

The company purchased the buildings from OrthoWilmington, an independent orthopedic practice, for an undisclosed price. OrthoWilmington had leased the offices for the past 15 years.

 

Here are four things to know:

 

1. The two buildings are in the heart of Wilmington, N. C. and are within three miles of the New Hanover Regional Medical Center.

 

2. Montecito is aiming to close on an additional OrthoWilmington location before the year ends.

 

3. Montecito CEO Chip Conk said the buildings will be the "perfect" complement to the company's holdings.

 

4. Montecito has more than $1.2 billion in medical real estate holdings across 22 states.
