Theodore Blaine, MD, was recently named the interim chairman of Yale Medicine's department of orthopedics, the Greenwich Times reports. Here's what you need to know.
1. Dr. Blaine is a professor of orthopedic surgery at the Yale School of Medicine and a team physicians for the school. Additionally he is the chief of shoulder and elbow surgery as well as the director of fellowship education.
2. Dr. Blaine is on the staff of Greenwich and Stamford Hospital and he maintains an office in Stamford. He is a partner with Orthopedic Surgery and Sports Medicine.
3. Dr. Blaine is a former athlete who played football, lacrosse and swam.
