Henry Schein Medical Systems and Forerun have partnered to sell, implement and support MicroMD, a new software charting solution for ambulatory clinics and urgent care facilities. The companies hope that this clinical documentation technology will accelerate patient charting for physicians.

1. Henry Schein Medical Systems, a subsidiary of Henry Schein, develops EHR and practice management technology. Forerun develops fast-charting clinical documentation and prioritization support software for urgent care facilities and emergency departments.
2. When patient information is entered into MicroMD, the software tracks the patient's primary care physician, insurance provider and check-in time. At the end of the patient visit, MicroMD generates a claim.
