OrthoCarolina earned recognition for its employee wellness program as one of the top workplace wellness programs in the nation. The Healthiest 100 Workplaces in America annual program, which measures corporate health across the United States, selected OrthoCarolina's wellness program as one of the top 100 in the nation, out of a pool of more than 4,000 applicants.
Here are five highlights:
1. OrthoCarolina ranks 23rd out of the top 100 wellness programs in the nation in 2016.
2. The top 100 organizations demonstrated the best corporate wellness policies, practices and programs.
3. OrthoCarolina's wellness program, Be Well, offers a "comprehensive approach to total body wellness [that] includes fitness, nutrition, health screening, education and personal motivation."
4. Charlotte, N.C.-based Elite Wellness designs and manages OrthoCarolina's wellness program.
5. The orthopedic practice also took first in the Charlotte region for the Healthiest Employer recognition.
