New York City-based Hospital for Special Surgery welcomed spine surgeon Sheeraz Qureshi, MD, MBA.
Here are five highlights:
1. Dr. Qureshi's new appointment will take effect April 1, 2017, treating patients in Manhattan as well as the HSS Outpatient Center in Paramus, N.J.
2. Dr. Qureshi comes to HSS from New York City-based Mount Sinai Hospital, where he currently serves as an associate professor of spinal surgery.
3. He specializes in minimally invasive spine surgery, with research interests touching on spinal surgery clinical outcomes as well as biological and biomechanical effects of motion-sparing spinal technology.
4. He completed his spine fellowship at University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center.
5. HHS also added Thomas Bauer, MD, PhD; Karen Onel, MD; Daniel Osei, MD; and Jose Rodriguez, MD.
