The Menorah Medical Center in Overland Park, Kan., is creating an orthopedic clinic after hiring three orthopedic surgeons, according to the Kansas City Business Journal.
Here are five things to know:
1. The three physicians from the Kansas City-based University of Kansas Medical Center will come together to create the Kansas City Joint Replacement. The physicians include Kelly Hendricks, MD; Cameron Ledford, MD, and David Anderson, MD.
2. The new clinic will specialize in hip and knee replacements, as all three physicians are experts in revision surgery after joint replacements.
3. Dr. Hendricks previously served as an associate professor at the University of Kansas Medical Center and was on the orthopedic education committee.
4. Dr. Ledford was an associate professor at the University of Kansas Medical Center. He has special interests in adult hip and knee reconstruction.
5. Dr. Anderson was an orthopedic surgery assistant professor at the University of Kansas Medical Center. He completed fellowship training at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston.
