Phoenix-based OrthoArizona welcomed Caleb Behrend, MD; David Jaffe, MD; Matthew Russo, MD; and John Tefteller, MD, who all specialize in different areas of orthopedics.
Here are five takeaways:
1. Dr. Behrend is a spine specialist with expertise in cervical spine surgery, scoliosis and spinal deformity, trauma surgery and musculoskeletal medicine. He completed fellowship training at The Rothman Institute in Philadelphia.
2. Dr. Jaffe is a foot and ankle specialists and completed his fellowship training at Dallas-based Baylor University Medical Center. As a foot and ankle specialist, Dr. Jaffe has expertise in bunions, hammertoes, total ankle replacements and complex reconstruction surgery.
3. Total joint specialists Dr. Russo is an expert in total hip and knee replacement surgery. He recently completed fellowship training in adult reconstruction surgery at the Anderson Orthopaedic Clinic in Arlington, Va.
4. Dr. Tefteller is a nonsurgical sports medicine specialist who has expertise in musculoskeletal injury, concussion management, injury prevention and osteopathic manipulative treatment. He is fellowship trained from the San Diego Sports Medicine and Family Health Center.
5. OrthoArizona currently has 70 musculoskeletal specialists at more than 25 offices across Arizona.
