The new OsteoArthritis Pain Institute in Beach Park, Ill., a division of M.D. Total Care in Conway, S.C., is the first in northern Illinois to offer the Intra Articular Joint Program that serves an alternative to knee replacement surgery, according to a Lake County News-Sun report.
The program uses joint injections that replace the knee's natural fluid. The institute also treats degenerative joint disease and other musculoskeletal, pain-related conditions.
