Study: Minimally Invasive Lumbar Decompression Safe and Effective for Pain Relief

A study published by the American Academy of Pain Medicine in the December, 2012, issue of Pain Medicine Journal shows that minimally invasive lumbar decompression is safe in the long term and effective.
Luis Fandos, MD, co-founder of New York Pain Consultants, anesthesiologist and interventional pain physician, who uses this procedure to treat patients with lumbar spinal stenosis said that patients' pain levels were reduced by 75 to 90 percent after the procedure.
