Purdue Pharma in Stamford, Conn., a pharmaceutical company, and EIMindA in Israel, a company that develops brain functional mapping technology, have entered into a multi-year research collaboration agreement.
The research collaboration will focus on pain diagnosis and management through the development of objective assessments of analgesia and other subjective responses to treatment of pain.
As part of the innovative research and development strategy, Purdue Pharma will broaden the scope of its research beyond drug discovery in order to focus on the enhancement of the overall quality of pain management.
