Michael Price, MD, is a general orthopedic surgeon who performs outpatient sacroiliac joint fusions. He practices at the Spine and Orthopedic Center in Santa Barbara, Calif. 
Dr. Price specializes in fracture and extremity injuries and minimally invasive orthopedic surgery. His research on sacroiliac joint athrodesis has been referenced in more than a dozen pieces of international literature, and he also lectures on the topic.
He is a member of the California Orthopedic Association, Santa Barbara County Medical Association, American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and Sacroiliac Joint Surgery Society. He is also a candidate to present at the seventh International Congress of the Chinese Orthopaedic Association.
Dr. Price completed his medical degree at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta. He completed an internship in orthopedic surgery at Atlanta Medical Center and a residency in orthopedic surgery at Georgia Baptist Medical Center in Atlanta.
