Today, David Altchek, MD, is scheduled to perform surgery on Chicago White Sox pitcher Gavin Floyd's right elbow, according to an MLB.com report. Dr. Altchek will perform the surgery at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York to repair the pitcher's flexor muscle and ulnar collateral ligament.
The surgery will end Mr. Floyd's season.
