George Paletta, MD, St. Louis Cardinals team physician, performed a ligament transplant procedure to repair the right elbow of closing pitcher Jason Motte, according to a St. Louis Today report. Dr. Paletta repaired the player's torn ligament at Mercy Hospital St. Louis.
Dr. Paletta practices with the Orthopedic Center of St. Louis. He specializes in elbow and shoulder surgery.
