On Thursday, Steve Yoon, MD, of the Kerlan-Jobe Orthopaedic Group in Los Angeles, performed successful knee surgery on Los Angeles Lakers forward Pau Gasol, according to a Fansided report. Dr. Yoon performed the procedure to remove scar tissue from the player's patellar tendons in both knees.
The forward is expected to reach a full recovery in three months.
