Robert W. McAllister, MD, has been named medical honoree of the 2014 Hartford Walk to Cure Arthritis by The Arthritis Foundation's New England region, according to a report by The Hartford Courant.
Dr. McAllister practices with Hartford Orthopedic Surgeons and is the co-founder and co-director of the Connecticut Joint Replacement Institute. He focuses on arthritis management, joint replacement surgery as well as orthopedic trauma surgery. He has also completed a fellowship in total joint, adult reconstruction and orthopedic trauma surgery at the Minneapolis Orthopedic and Arthritis Institute.
