National Center for Sports Safety Announces Partnership With University of Georgia

Orthopedic Sports Medicine

The National Center for Sports Safety, a non-profit foundation founded by orthopedic surgeon Larry Lemak, MD, has announced a partnership with the University of Georgia in Athens, which will focus on research of athletic injuries and the care of athletes.
The partnership will be led by Dr. Lemak; Chris Gillespie, head athletic trainer and director of athletic training education at Samford University in Homewood, Ala.; and Ron Courson, director of sports medicine and senior associate athletic director at the University of Georgia.
