Safe Orthopaedics has partnered with Brainlab to create navigable surgical tools, the devicemaker said Feb. 21.
Under the partnership, the duo will collaborate to make Safe Orthopaedics' technologies compatible with Brainlab's 3D spine and trauma navigation, according to a news release. Brainlab's spinal navigation allows for precise screw positioning and reduced radiation exposure.
"Safe's strategy of collaboration with leading players such as Brainlab will enable us to leverage the impact of our technology and consolidate our position as the leader in ready-to-use devices," Thomas Droulout, technical director and co-founder of Safe Orthopaedics, said in the release.
