Baxano's iO-Flex System was successfully used at Olympia Medical Center in Los Angeles for minimally invasive treatment of foraminal lumbar stenosis, according to an Olympia Medical Center news release.
The iO-Flex System uses thin, flexible instruments to perform the lumbar decompression from the inside out. Physicians can decompress multiple levels using the minimally invasive approach while sparing the facet joins. Olympia Medical Center is the first in the Los Angeles area to use the iO-Flex System.
