Bossier City, La.-based WK Bossier Health Center has earned The Joint Commission's Gold Seal of Approval for Advanced Total Hip and Knee Replacement Certification, according to a May 23 report from the Bossier Press-Tribune.
The certification focuses on pre-surgical orthopedic consultation, admission, rehabilitation activities and follow-up visits.
WK Bossier underwent an onsite review and evaluated compliance with related certification standards for its total hip and knee replacement program.
