Question: What are you most excited about practicing with BoulderCentre? How do you plan on developing your practice over the next year?
Dr. Patrick Curry: I am excited to join the outstanding team at BoulderCentre and looking forward to helping patients stay healthy and active. I plan on developing relationships with primary and physical medicine and rehabilitation physicians so that, together, we can help get patients back to their active lifestyles.
Q: What do you see as the most promising developments in minimally invasive treatments for spinal disorders?
PC: The most promising MIS developments currently are retroperitoneal/lateral approaches to the disc space. The ability to stabilize and indirectly decompress spinal segments has tremendous potential to minimize morbidity and speed recovery.
Q: How do you see cervical disc replacement developing in spine?
PC: Cervical disc replacement will likely become the mainstay treatment for younger patients with symptoms from cervical disc herniations.
