Raymond Hwang, MD, an orthopedic spine surgeon recently joined Boston-based New England Baptist Hospital. He previously served as medical director of the DeKalb, Ill.-based KishHealth Spine Center and spine surgeon at Midwest Orthopaedic Institute in Sycamore, Ill.
Dr. Hwang is certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. He is also a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and North American Spine Society. He has authored more than 25 peer-reviewed journal articles, publications and presentations.
Dr. Hwang earned his medical degree at Harvard Medical School and a master of business administration from Harvard Business School in Boston. He completed residency training through the Harvard Combined Orthopaedic Surgery Residency Program and, in addition, has completed a fellowship in spine surgery at New England Baptist Hospital.
