Michele Johnson, MD, is a board-certified neurosurgeon at Atlanta Brain and Spine Care.
Dr. Johnson specializes in complex and minimally invasive spine surgery for conditions including degenerative spinal disease, spinal tumors and spinal cord injury.
Dr. Johnson received her medical degree from the Yale School of Medicine in New Haven, Conn., and underwent complex and minimally invasive spine fellowship training at Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta.
She has co-authored several scientific papers published in the Journal of Neurosurgery: Spine, Journal of Neurotrauma, Science and Genetics. Dr. Johnson is a member of the Congress of Neurological Surgeons, American Association of Neurological Surgeons and the Georgia Neurosurgical Society, among other professional organizations. She serves on the executive committee of the Joint Section on Disorders of the Spine and Peripheral Nerves and on the American College of Radiology as a spine and neurosurgery expert.
