Tord D. Alden, MD, is a board-certified neurosurgeon at Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago.
Dr. Alden serves as an associate pediatric neurosurgery professor at Chicago-based Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. He specializes in pediatric spine and brain surgery.
He received his medical degree from Chicago-based Rush Medical College and underwent pediatric neurosurgery fellowship training at St. Louis Children’s Hospital. Dr. Alden also completed a neurosurgery fellowship at Auckland (New Zealand) City Hospital.
Dr. Alden is a member of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons, American Society of Gene Therapy and Congress of Neurological Surgeons, among other professional organizations. He serves as chief medical informatics officer of Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago.
