Jacob Buchowski, MD, is a board-certified orthopedic spine surgeon at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis.
Dr. Buchowski serves as an orthopedic and neurosurgery professor and the chief of spine surgery at Washington University Orthopedics. He also directs the Washington University Spine Fellowship Program and the Spinal Tumors Center.
He received his medical degree from The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in Baltimore and underwent adult and pediatric spine surgery fellowship training at Washington University.
He also holds a master's degree in molecular biophysics and biochemistry from New Haven, Conn.-based Yale University. Dr. Buchowski is a diplomate of the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery.
