Alexander Ropper, MD, is assistant professor and director of spinal neurosurgery at Baylor St. Luke's Medical Center in Houston.
Dr. Ropper specializes in minimally invasive spine surgery, adult spinal deformity, artificial disc replacement and spinal tumors.
He graduated from Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston.
Following medical school, Dr. Ropper completed a residency at Brigham and Women's Hospital and Harvard Medical School in Boston. He completed a fellowship in complex spine surgery at Barrow Neurological Institute in Phoenix
Dr. Ropper's professional memberships include the Congress of Neurological Surgeons, the American Association of Neurological Surgeons and the North American Spine Society.
