The North American Spine Society has sent a letter to Fred Upton, chairman of the Committee on Energy and Commerce, outlining the reforms NASS believes the Sustainable Growth Rate replacement draft proposal would benefit from. NASS calls for:
• Stable, predictable updates
• Basing a portion of the payment on quality through Update Incentive Program
• Rewarding efficient resource use
NASS offered to become a resource for the Committee on Energy and Commerce for future testimony.
