Barnes-Jewish Hospital at Washington University Medical Center in St. Louis is the fourth clinical trial site for InVivo Therapeutics' IDE pilot study of the neuro-spinal scaffold in patients with acute spinal cord injury.
As one of the largest regional trauma center, Barnes-Jewish Hospital is an ideal place for the trial. Paul Santiago, MD, associate professional of neurological surgery and orthopedic surgery, will be the principal investigator at Barnes-Jewish Hospital.
