Keith Bridwell, MD, and Munish Gupta, MD, of St. Louis-based Washington University School of Medicine, recently published a fourth edition textbook on spine surgery.
The textbook is titled "The Textbook of Spinal Surgery" and covers the full spectrum of spine surgery, including degenerative spine disorders, spinal deformities, tumors, fractures and infections.
The book features several contributions from spine, orthopedic and neurosurgeons, with more than 4,000 illustrations and accompanying video clips for visual context.
Dr. Gupta specializes in adult and pediatric spine surgery, with more than 27 years of experience treating spinal deformities such as scoliosis and spondylolisthesis.
Dr. Bridwell specializes in complex spinal deformity surgery and has performed over 6,000 surgeries in more than 30 years as a spine surgeon.
