Pediatric spine surgeon John Asghar, MD, has joined HCA Florida Kendall Hospital, a 447-bed facility in Miami.
Dr. Asghar specializes in the treatment of a range of scoliosis and complex deformities of the spine for children and adults, and in piloting minimally invasive procedures, according to an Aug. 13 news release.
He joins HCA from Nicklaus Children’s Hospital in Miami, where he served for eight years. He is a member of the Scoliosis Research Society, the North American Spine Society and the International Society for Advancement Spine Surgery.
