Tausif Rehman, MD, a neurosurgeon, died in a small plane crash that occurred in a Chicago suburb, according to a Kansas First News report.
Dr. Rehman, along with two other physicians, was killed when the twin-engine aircraft they were aboard crashed on Sunday night. Dr. Rehman was a neurosurgeon providing care with Topeka, Kan.-based Stormont-Vail Healthcare, which he joined in 2013.
The National Transportation Safety Board is investigating the incident, according to the report.
