Neurosurgeon joins Kaiser Permanente Hawaii: 3 takeaways

Honolulu-based Kaiser Permanente Moanalua Medical Center hired neurosurgeon Ramesh Kumar, MD.

Here are three takeaways:

1. After earning his medical degree from Texas A&M Health Science Center College of Medicine in College Station, Dr. Kumar completed his residency at University of Colorado Denver School of Medicine.

2. Along with Dr. Kumar, Kaiser Permanente Hawaii also welcomed a hospitalist, vascular surgeon, family medicine physician, dermatologist and orthopedic surgeon.

3. Kaiser Permanente Hawaii comprises more than 600 healthcare providers who serve more then 255,000 members in Hawaii.
