Neal ElAttrache is scheduled to perform surgery today on Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher Chad Billingsley at the Kerlan-Jobe Orthopedic Clinic in Los Angeles, Calif., according to a MLB.com report. Dr. ElAttrache, board certified in sports medicine and orthopedic surgery, will perform surgery to repair a torn ulnar collateral ligament in the pitcher's right elbow.
The $12 million pitcher is expected to need 12 months to recover from the procedure.
