Matt Liebman, MD, performed wrist surgery on Boston Red Sox second baseman Dustin Pedroia at Newton-Wellesley Surgery Center in Wellesley, Mass., according to an ESPN report.
Mr. Pedroia underwent a left wrist first dorsal compartment release and a tenosynovectomy. The surgery is likely season-ending and there isn’t a timetable for his return.
