Richard Steadman, MD, physician and co-founder of The Steadman Clinic in Vail, Colo., will be one of the surgeons performing surgery on the NBA Portland Trail Blazers' Greg Oden next week for a microfracture in his left knee, according to an article published in AOL news.
Dr. Steadman will be joined by Don Roberts, MD, a surgeon with Rebound, a practice in Vancouver, Wa., and a team physician for the Trail Blazers. The surgery will take place at The Steadman Clinic.
Mr. Oden has previously undergone microfracture surgery in September of 2007. He also fractured his left patella in 2009 when it was also discovered he had damaged cartilage on the surface of his femur.
