The Green Bay Packers gave a $20,000 grant to Milwaukee public schools for certified athletic trainers, according to Fox 6 Now.
Here are four things to know:
1.The grant is funded through the NFL Club Matching Certified Trainer Grant Program.
2. The grant gives coverage through the Midwest Orthopedic Sports Medicine.
3. Schools can now to provide a certified athletic trainer on the sidelines of each of the 106 football games in the Milwaukee district.
4. More than 800 high school football players between 14 schools will now have access to an athletic trainer.
