The Ames, Iowa-based McFarland Clinic opened a new $7.6 million facility in the Iowa State Research Park in Ames, according to the The Ames Tribune.
Here are three things to know:
1. The new 20,000-square-foot facility features the multi-center practice's first sports medicine clinic.
2. The sports medicine clinic will treat athletes from Iowa State University in Ames, local youth sports teams and the general community.
3. The sports medicine clinic is the only facility in central Iowa to use the C3Logix system to diagnose and treat concussions in patients between the ages of 10 and 25.
