Hillsboro, Ohio-based Highland District Hospital broke ground on a 39,000-square-foot addition, The Times Gazette reports.

1. The $21.5 million project will feature an orthopedic and sports medicine clinic and an onsite outpatient rehabilitation unit
2. Construction will take two years to complete.
3. The hospital will also expand its parking lot capacity.
4. Existing patient rooms will be renovated to feature the latest technology.
5. HDH President and CEO Randal Lennartz said, "We have made a focused effort to enhance the areas that will make the most impact for you and your family based on the feedback we have received from patients.
