After partnering with the Tennessee Orthopaedic Alliance, a sports medicine complex will change its name to the TOA Sports Performance Center, according to the Brentwood Home Page.
Five things to know:
1. The Cool Springs, Tenn.-based facility known as the A-Game Sportsplex will change its name after the building’s owners made an agreement with the TOA.
2. As part of the agreement, TOA is leasing more than 8,500 square feet of the facility to serve as its Williamson County, Tenn., hub for urgent care, physical therapy and performance training. TOA will take over both sides of the main entry hall.
3. After renovations are complete, TOA will move into the new space in fall 2019, where it will add specialized physical therapy, preventative and post-injury performance and conditioning training.
4. TOA provides sports medicine services to 24 high schools and seven colleges in Middle Tennessee.
5. TOA will join Premier Athletics, Music City Dance, Tennessee Performance Volleyball and Nike Basketball as tenants in the 174,000-square-foot facility. The TOA Sports Performance Center features 12 volleyball courts, six basketball courts, a cheerleading and tumbling area and five dance recital rooms.
