Scott Hanson, MD, operated on the right hand of Pittsburgh Pirates pitcher Kyle Crick.
Neal ElAttrache, MD, examined San Francisco Giants slugger Pablo Sandoval, who later underwent Tommy John surgery.
Dr. ElAttrache also examined the left shoulder of Minnesota Twins center fielder Byron Buxton on Sept. 8 and fixed Mr. Buxton's torn labrum on Sept. 10.
Golfer Dustin Johnson underwent arthroscopic knee surgery performed by George Caldwell, MD.
Vern Cooley, MD, performed knee surgery on Tiger Woods, according to a statement on Mr. Woods' Twitter account.
James Andrews, MD, injected platelet-rich plasma into the left elbow of Boston Red Sox pitcher Chris Sale.
Boston Red Sox pitcher Steven Wright had his right elbow examined by Dr. Andrews on Aug. 7.
While repairing Pittsburgh Pirates pitcher Jameson Taillon's damaged right flexor tendon, David Altchek, MD, found the pitcher also needed a second Tommy John procedure. Dr. Altchek performed both procedures on Aug. 13.
Kelly Hynes, MD, repaired Chicago Sky center Jantel Lavender's fractured left foot.
